Tech CEOs congratulate Trump after quietly calling him on the campaign trail

The leaders of major tech companies, including Meta, Apple, and Google, extended their congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday and expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with his administration.

Here's a look at what they shared:

Apple’s Tim Cook posted on X, saying, “Congratulations, President Trump, on your victory! We’re eager to work with you and your administration to ensure that the U.S. remains a global leader driven by ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.”

Google’s Sundar Pichai also congratulated Trump on his “decisive victory,” writing on X, “We’re in a golden era of American innovation and committed to partnering with this administration to help bring its benefits to all.”

Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg wrote on Threads, “As a country, we have tremendous opportunities ahead. Looking forward to working with you and your administration.”

Amazon’s Andy Jassy and Jeff Bezos joined in with their congratulations. A week earlier, Bezos had defended his decision to withhold an endorsement from Vice President Kamala Harris, stating it was to avoid any “perception of bias” at The Washington Post, which he owns.

Similar sentiments were echoed by the CEOs of Microsoft, Intel, and OpenAI.

As Trump’s administration takes shape, potential changes in tech regulation, from immigration policy to antitrust challenges, could significantly influence the tech industry’s future trajectory.
