Ilona Maher, U.S. Olympic rugby star, part of DWTS cast

 

U.S. Olympic rugby star and bronze medalist Ilona Maher has been announced as part of the celebrity lineup for Season 33 of "Dancing with the Stars." Maher, 28, gained popularity on social media for her TikToks and body positivity content. She will be joined by fellow Olympian, U.S. gymnastics star Stephen Nedoroscik, known as the "Pommel Horse guy." Nedoroscik, 25, won two bronze medals in Paris and became an internet sensation with memes highlighting his pre-competition rituals and Superman-like transformation.

Maher will be partnered with Alan Bersten, while Nedoroscik will dance with Rylee Arnold. Also joining the cast are former NBA star Dwight Howard, who will dance with Daniella Karagach, and two-time Super Bowl champion wide receiver Danny Amendola, paired with Witney Carson.

Other notable contestants include "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum Tori Spelling, "Bachelor" star Joey Graziadei, "Bachelorette" star Jenn Tran, Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Creonta Parks, actors Chandler Kinney and Reginald VelJohnson, and model Brooks Nader. Anna Sorokin, the infamous con artist also known as Anna Delvey, will also compete while on house arrest, wearing an ankle bracelet.
